  • Legal professionals, firms, and their authorized employees can use Casepal for business purposes only.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Any unauthorized access or suspicious activity on your account must be reported immediately.
  • Casepal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use of Casepal

By using Casepal, you agree NOT to:

  • Misuse the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities.
  • Share confidential client data without legal authorization.
  • Distribute, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
  • Use automation or bots to interact with the platform.
  • Upload or transmit harmful content, including viruses or malware.
  • Violate data privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations.

Casepal reserves the right to suspend access if users engage in prohibited activities.

5. Lead & Client Data Management

Casepal allows law firms to collect, manage, and track leads. You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for obtaining necessary client consent before storing their data.
  • Casepal is not responsible for any misuse of client information.
  • Lead data should be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
  • You should securely store and manage sensitive legal data within Casepal.

6. Payments & Subscription Plans

  • Casepal operates on a subscription-based model with different pricing tiers.
  • Payments are billed monthly or annually, depending on the chosen plan.
  • Failure to pay may result in account suspension or restricted access.
  • Refunds are processed according to Casepal’s refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, logos, software, and content on Casepal are the property of Casepal.
  • Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform.
  • You may not copy, distribute, or modify Casepal’s intellectual property without permission.

8. Data Privacy & Security

Casepal values data protection and privacy. By using the platform, you agree to:

  • Store and manage confidential legal information responsibly.
  • Not share or expose client-sensitive data to unauthorized parties.
  • Allow Casepal to process data for internal analytics and feature improvements.

9. Service Availability & Downtime

  • Casepal strives for 99.9% uptime, but temporary disruptions may occur due to maintenance or technical issues.
  • We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
  • Users will be notified in advance of planned maintenance.

10. Termination & Account Deletion

  • Users may terminate their account at any time through account settings.
  • Casepal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, user data may be retained for a limited period in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Casepal does not provide legal advice—it is a legal management tool.
  • We are not responsible for client interactions, legal outcomes, or case results.
  • Casepal is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from platform use.

12. Changes to Terms of Use

  • Casepal reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
  • Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform alerts.
  • Continued use of Casepal after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed under South African law.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation, as applicable.
